Engagement options

How we can work together

Three ways to start, from a two-week audit to a standing seat in your leadership meetings. Every engagement is scoped in a written statement of work and quoted after a call, so you know what you are buying before anything begins.

01
Data Audit & Roadmap
Investment
Fixed fee
quoted per engagement
2 weeks

Before you spend on dashboards, find out whether the numbers underneath them hold up.

Choose this if
  • Two reports disagree and nobody can say which one is right.
  • You are about to buy a BI tool and want to know what you would be pointing it at.
  • You inherited someone else's reporting and have no idea what is inside it.
What you walk away owning
  • A written assessment of every source feeding your reporting, and which ones you can trust
  • The metrics worth tracking, and the ones you track today that mislead you
  • A ranked fix list with effort estimates, in a form you can hand to anyone
  • A recorded findings session with your team
Week one / week two
Week one is access, interviews and tracing where each number comes from. Week two is the assessment, the ranked fixes and the findings session.

02
Reporting Build
Investment
Fixed fee
quoted per engagement
4–6 weeks

The dashboard your leadership team actually opens on Monday morning.

Choose this if
  • Someone on your team loses two days a month rebuilding the same deck.
  • Nobody can answer a question about the business without an analyst in the room.
  • You have the data. What you do not have is anywhere to look at it.
What you walk away owning
  • The dashboard and the model underneath it, in your tenant, under your license
  • Documented sources and refresh logic, so any BI contractor can pick it up cold
  • A recorded training session for the people who will use it
  • Two weeks of support after launch, while your team puts it to work
How it runs
Scoping and KPI definition first, then a working version in front of you inside two weeks, then build against your feedback rather than a spec written in week one.

03
Fractional Analytics Lead
Investment
Monthly retainer
quoted per engagement
3-month minimum

Senior analytics judgment in your leadership meetings, without opening a headcount req.

Choose this if
  • Vendors are selling you analytics projects and you have nobody in-house to evaluate them.
  • You need someone accountable for the data roadmap who is not also the person building it.
  • The work is real but it is not a full-time job yet.
What you walk away owning
  • A maintained, prioritized data roadmap you can put in front of your board
  • Bi-weekly working sessions with your leadership team
  • Written review of vendor and internal analytics work before you commit budget
  • Data quality and access policies your team can actually follow
Between sessions
Reachable async on Slack, Teams or email during your business hours for the questions that come up between meetings.

Every engagement is quoted after a scoping call, based on how many data sources are involved, the state they are in, and how many decisions the work has to support. Fixed fee for projects, monthly for advisory, invoiced in USD against a written statement of work.

Working with someone outside the US

Time zone
I work your hours. EST/CST overlap every working day, and meetings get scheduled in your time zone, not mine.
Contracting
A written statement of work naming scope, deliverables and dates, signed before anything starts. No open-ended hourly billing.
Data access
Read-only access, scoped to what the work actually needs, inside your environment and your tooling. Nothing gets moved somewhere I control.
Payment
Invoiced in USD against the signed statement of work. Fixed fee for projects, monthly for advisory.
Handover
Everything is built in your tenant, under your license, and documented so your team or any contractor can maintain it once I am gone.

Which one do you need?

If you cannot yet name the decision your reporting is supposed to support, start with the Audit. If you already know what you need and want it built, go to the Reporting Build. If the problem is that nobody senior owns your data roadmap, take the Fractional Lead.

Ready to scope it?

Thirty minutes, no commitment. Tell me what you are working with and I will tell you what it would take.
